KENORA – The Kenora OPP and Marine and Trails Unit is looking for a missing boater on Lake of the Woods.
The OPP were notified Tuesday that a 67-year-old California man was missing on Lake of the Woods.
OPP officials were told two men from the United States had been fishing and had stopped on shore for lunch when their boat drifted away.
The California man had attempted to swim after the boat and did not return to shore.
The OPP underwater search and recovery unit is en route to Kenora to assist in locating the man.
The investigation is ongoing.
