OPP search for missing man

KENORA, Ont. -- OPP are asking for the public's assistance as they search for a missing Winnipeg man.

According to an Ontario Provincial Police release, officers were notified of a missing person on Pelican Pouch Lake on Sunday around 2:34 p.m.

Police were advised that Harold Slegers, 62, of Winnipeg had attended his camp and when he failed to return home the OPP were called.

The OPP marine Unit, Emergency Response Team (ERT), and Northwest Region Canine Unit attended to search with negative results.
