WAWA, Ont. - Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Alberta man last seen on the North shore of Lake Superior.
In a media release issued on Sunday, OPP say 41-year-old, Rene Savoie, of Grand Prairie, AB was last seen travelling on Highway 17 near Wawa, Ont. on Aug. 26, 2017.
Savoie is described as Metis, five foot ten inches tall, weighing 135 pounds with a slim build. He has brown and grey hair with a crew cut and was last seen wearing green shorts and a grey T-shirt.
Savoie may be driving a black, 2002, two door passenger vehicle with a temporary Alberta license plate and a rear spoiler.
Police and Savoie’s family are concerned for his well-being. Anyone with information are asked to contact OPP Superior East Detachment, Wawa office at 1-888-310-1122.
