HILLSPORT, Ont. -- Ontario Provincial Police arrested a 27-year-old man after a weekend incident at Hillsport, about 50 kilometres north of Manitouwadge.
Officers from the Manitouwadge and Marathon detachments responded to a firearms call on Sunday morning.
As a result of their investigation, a resident of Hillsport was taken into custody without incident.
Police executed a search warrant and seized over 50 firearms.
The suspect was remanded to the Thunder Bay District Jail on charges of uttering death threats, pointing a firearm, mischief, careless storage of a firearm and possession of weapons dangerous to the public.
