OPP to collect food for RFDA on Saturday

The Thunder Bay detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is turning to the public to help fight holiday hunger.

The Thunder Bay detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is turning to the public to help fight holiday hunger.

On Saturday OPP officers will be stuffing a cruiser full of food to help support the Regional Food Distribution Association to ensure everyone has food on their table.

Officers will be stationed outside the Real Canadian Superstore, Wal-Mart’s Memorial Avenue location and Metro stores on Arthur and River streets.

The collection will take place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
