OPP willing to pay $50,000 for arrest, conviction in February death

Kenora OPP are offering up to a $50,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the Feb. 7 death of a 60-year-old man in Sioux Narrows/Nestor Falls.

In a release issued late Tuesday afternoon, police say Richard Anthony Roach’s body was found in the community, having last been seen earlier on Feb. 7 at a party at a nearby residence.

“Investigators believe strongly that the key to solving this incident rests within the community and are encouraging anyone with information regarding the person or persons responsible for the death of Richard Roachg to immediately contact the director of the Ontario Provincial Police Criminal Investigation Services at 1-888-310-1122 or (705)-329-6111, or their nearest police authority,” said OPP Det. Insp. Randy Heida in a release.

The reward money will be apportioned as deemed just by the minister of community safety and correctional services and the OPP commissioner.

Those wishing to remain anonymous are eligible for a $2,000 reward through Crime Stoppers.
