THUNDER BAY – Two more Ottawa-area men face drug charges, the latest arrests in a three-month investigation by the Thunder Bay Police drug and gang unit.
Police issued a release on Thursday afternoon and said a number of people have already been arrested in the operation, including several from the nation’s capital, and charged with distribution of firearms, and illicit narcotics, a list that includes handguns, long guns, cocaine, morphine, fentanyl and marijuana.
The latest arrest, with the assistance of the Nipigon OPP, occurred this past Saturday, which netted about $90,000 worth of morphine and fentanyl, along with an SUV containing a sophisticated hidden mechanical compartment.
