Outage leaves 10,000 in dark

About 10,000 Thunder Bay residents were left in the dark for nearly two hours Saturday night. Officials with Hydro One say customers in the south end of the city lost power at about 6:30pm.

Officials with Hydro One say customers in the south end of the city lost power at about 6:30pm.

City crews were brought in and restored power from the northward into the south.

All power was restored to all customers by 9 p.m. However, there is still no word on what exactly caused the outage.
