THUNDER BAY -- The Pacific Avenue overpass will be temporarily closed for inspection, according to a release issued on Saturday by the City of Thunder Bay.

The overpass will be closed daily during working hours while the inspection is going on and reopened each evening once the work has been done for the day.

The closures begin on Monday, Aug. 25 and the work is expected to take between three and five days.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and are asked to use alternative routes.

Access for all local businesses and residents will be maintained for the duration of the closures.
