Pair arrested, charged for trafficking Methamphetamine

(KENORA, ON) Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime and Enforcement Bureau-Kenora Drug Unit (OCEB), the OPP Aboriginal Issues Unit (AIU) and the Treaty Three Police Service have charged several people in ongoing drug investigations in the last few days. 

On Friday September 4, 2015 around 3:40 pm police arrested a male and female in the downtown area of Kenora.   The arrest and search of the subjects resulted in the seizure of an amount of Methamphetamine. 

The investigation resulted in the following charges;

31 year old Shawn NECANAPENACE of Kenora has been charged with;
·         Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
·         Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

35 year old Crystal MEEKIS of Kenora has been charged with:
• Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking

They are to appear on October 8, 2015 in Kenora Court to answer to the charges.

In another incident, on Friday September 4, 2015 around 5:00 pm police arrested a male on Ninth Street in Kenora after an ongoing drug investigation.  The arrest and search of the male resulted in the location of an amount of Hydromorphone.
As a result of this investigation, 26 year old Harley MCLEOD of Kenora has been charged with;

• Possession of Hydromorphone for the Purpose of Trafficking
He is to appear on October 8, 2015 in Kenora Court to answer to the charge.

In a further drug related incident, another male has been charged with Trafficking.  On Tuesday September 8, 2015 police arrested a male following an ongoing investigation into drug activity in downtown Kenora.  Police located an amount of Hydromorphone during the arrest as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia. 

As a result of this investigation, 48 year old Allan BULL of Kenora has been charged with; 
• Possession of Hydromorphone for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

He is to appear on October 8, 2015 in Kenora Court to answer to the charge.

The total street value of drugs seized in all three incidents is estimated to be approximately $2,715.00
