DRYDEN, Ont. – A pair of Winnipeg residents are facing drug-related charges following a traffic stop.
According to an Ontario Provincial Police release, two people have been charged as a result of a traffic stop in Dryden on Wednesday around 1:15 p.m.
A 37-year-old from Winnipeg was charged with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- methamphetamine, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Police also charged a 36-year-old from Winnipeg with operation while prohibited under the criminal code, failure to comply with release order- other than to attend court, possession property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Both individuals have been held in custody for a bail hearing.
