THUNDER BAY – On Tuesday, July 11, a section of Balmoral Street between Alloy Drive and Hewitson Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction, due to mill and re-paving of lanes.
The mill and re-paving of lanes will improve the driving surface of this section of the road. The road work will take place in two stages.
Stage One will involve work on the outside lanes and off-ramps. Stage Two will involve work on the inside lanes and left turn lanes. Work is expected to last up to four days.
The construction schedule is subject to change, as various factors such as weather, can have an impact on project timelines. Those travelling in the area are asked to use extra caution and obey all posted signage.
