THUNDER BAY -- A 16-year-old pedestrian struck by a vehicle Wednesday near Selkirk and Walsh Streets has been charged.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers say the incident took place at that intersection at 3 p.m. Officers have concluded their investigation and say they believe the teen entered the roadway without yielding to the approaching vehicle traffic.
The teen is charged under a city bylaw.
The pedestrian suffered only minor injury and was taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences center by ambulance.
