A domestic argument in Pikangikum, which led to at least one shot being fired, has ended peacefully.
Police officers in the northern community of Pikangikum were alerted to the situation around 1 a.m. Thursday.
A perimeter was established around the residence and the OPP's emergency response team and crime unit and crisis negotiators were called to the scene as a standoff ensued.
The incident came to an end around 10 a.m. Thursday when a man walked out of the home and surrendered to officers.
No one was injured and charges are pending.
