THUNDER BAY -- Two suspects are being sought after a beer bottle filled with gasoline was thrown at the window of a south side restaurant.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were called to the Pita Pit on the corner of Arthur and James streets just after 3 a.m. Tuesday, where they discovered the small fire.
The bottle broke the window pane but the bottle rebounded outside where officers extinguished the fire, according to a police media release issued later in the morning.
A witness reported seeing two men wearing hoodies running east in the laneway behind the building. Officers checked the area but were not able to locate the suspects.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
