THUNDER BAY - More than 30 years after a fatal hit and run collision that claimed the life of a 20-year-old man, city police are once again launching an appeal to the public in the hope of finding more information.
In a Facebook post, Thunder Bay police say Monday, Oct. 26, is the 35th anniversary of the hit and run death of Kip Hallow. Police say the investigation into the fatal collision remains open.
On Oct. 26, 1985, Hallow was killed following what appeared to have been a hit and run where the driver of a red or maroon coloured sedan failed to remain at the scene of Vickers Street North and Weigand Avenue, police say.
Anyone with information on the death of Hallow is asked to contact the police at 807-684-1251.
