Police apprehend knife-wielding Mac's robber

THUNDER BAY -- A 30-year-old man was arrested early Sunday morning robbing the Mac's convenience store on Oliver Road. Just after 4:00 a.m, the male threatened a Mac's employee with a knife.

THUNDER BAY -- A 30-year-old man was arrested early Sunday morning robbing the Mac's convenience store on Oliver Road.

Just after 4:00 a.m, the male threatened a Mac's employee with a knife. Thunder Bay Police apprehended him in a laneway close by.

Officers recovered the knife at the scene and no Mac's employees were injured.

The suspect was charged with robbery. He also had several outstanding arrest warrants with Thunder Bay Police.
