Drug investigation

On the evening of January 2016 members of the Drug Unit, Guns and Gangs Unit and ETU officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service executed a controlled drug and substances act search warrant at a south side residence. As result $60,000.00 dollars worth of illegal narcotics were seized which included195 grams of crack cocaine and 22 grams of cocaine along with $11,000.00 in cash.

The four men arrested are either members or associated to the Galloway Boyz a notorious street gang out of Toronto known for their propensity for violence.

Charged are

-Justin CAIN 28 years of Toronto ON with Possession for the purpose of trafficking ( cocaine) and Possession of Proceeds of Crime over 5000.

-Jason CARTER 35 years of Scarborough ON with Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine) , Possession of Proceeds of Crime over 5000 and Breach of Recognizance

-Jahmar NEDRICK 23 years of Whitby ON with Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), Possession of Proceeds over 5000 and Breach of Probation

- Marlon VIRGO 24 years of Toronto ON with Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), Possession of Proceeds over 5000 and Breach of conditional discharge

All four males have been remanded and are held in custody.
