(RED LAKE, ON) – In the early morning hours of September 5, 2015, officers from the Red Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a possible impaired driver on an ATV in the Municipality of Red Lake.
Upon locating and speaking with the driver, officers determined he had been consuming alcohol. A roadside test was conducted at the scene, which registered a fail. As a result, the driver was arrested and returned to Red Lake Detachment for further tests.
Clinton HUNTER, age 22, of Red Lake, has been charged with Impaired Driving and Drive over 80 Milligrams contrary to Section 253(1) (a) and (b) of the Criminal Code. He is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on October 1, 2015 to answer to the charges.
