Provincial Police in Dryden say two young boys are safe after allegedly being abducted in Alberta.
Officials with the OPP say they received a report from Edmonton police that a father had allegedly kidnapped his sons, aged 3 and 4, and was headed to Toronto.
Officers pulled over a car late Tuesday afternoon and arrested a 29-year-old man from Toronto.
He was to appear in Dryden court Wednesday to face two counts of child abduction, two counts of kidnapping and uttering threats.
Police say both boys were recovered unharmed.
