Police arrest two after finding cocaine and cash in McIntyre-area home

Two people were arrested following a drug bust that led to the seizure of cocaine, cash and other drugs Thursday. Officers from the combined forces organized crime unit searched a Beckwick Drive home on Thursday.
Two people were arrested following a drug bust that led to the seizure of cocaine, cash and other drugs Thursday.

Officers from the combined forces organized crime unit searched a Beckwick Drive home on Thursday. As a result of that search, police found nearly 400 grams of cocaine, some psilocybin – also known as magic mushroom, three codeine tablets and $1,100 in Canadian cash.

Police say they believe the street value of the drugs seized is nearly $47,000.

Police have charged Tony Osmond, 42, of Thunder Bay with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of psilocybin and possession of codeine.

Police have also charged Angie Marshal, 29, of Thunder Bay with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of psilocybin and possession of codeine.

Both suspects were being held in custody and were expected to appear in court on Friday.
