Police begin ground search for a missing 42-year-old woman

THUNDER BAY -- City police have begun a ground search for 42-year-old Pauline Jean Kireto. Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say Kireto was last seen in the area of the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center at 9 a.m. on Oct. 15.

THUNDER BAY -- City police have begun a ground search for 42-year-old Pauline Jean Kireto.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say Kireto was last seen in the area of the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center at 9 a.m. on Oct. 15.

Pauline has medical conditions that requires medication and has been without them since she has gone missing. As a result, 20 police officers will be on foot to begin to check the area around the hospital and the pathways in the area.Pauline is described as five-feet-one-inch tall with a medium build.

She has short dark brown hair and a tattoo of cards with a rose on her right arm and a tattoo of scissors with a rose and a name tag on her left arm.

Police say she has a tendency to speak very quickly.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Kireto is urged to call local police at 684-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 623-8477.
