THUNDER BAY -- Police say they were erring on the side of caution when officers blocked off a section of Shuniah Street Thursday.
Thunder Bay Police Service spokesman Chris Adams said they had received a call about a man in distress and were concerned about his welfare.
He said the man was quickly picked up at another location in the city and the situation has been resolved.
Few other details were made available.
