An investigation into a series of historic sexual assaults has led to charges against a city man.
The Thunder Bay detachment of the OPP began its investigation in June after receiving allegations of incidents that occurred at Warnica Lake in Jacques Township between 1997 and 2007.
The subsequent investigation identified three male victims who were between 17 and 24 years of age at the time.
As a result, 51-year-old Gary Bruce Lamont has been charged with eight offences, including assault, sexual assault and forcible confinement.
Police are asking that anyone with information on these or other such incidents contact Thunder Bay OPP.
