Police charged a 41-year-old-man with trafficking and seized more than 270 grams of powdered cocaine following a search of a Lawrence Avenue residence.
Thunder Bay Police Service Drug Enforcement officers executed a search warrant of the residence on Friday. A 41-year-old-man and a 49-year-old-woman were in the residence at the time. Police searched and found about 277 grams of powered cocaine as well as more than $6, 250.
Police say the man was released on conditions from previous charges. Police charged the man with possession for the purpose of trafficking, proceeds of crime exceeding $5,000 and breach of recognizance.
The man remains in custody and appeared in court on Saturday.
