One person is dead after a residential fire Monday at Fort Severn First Nation.
Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service confirmed on Wednesday that a body was recovered from the fire, from which several people managed to escape.
The investigation is continuing with the help of the OPP Identification Unit and the Ontario Fire Marshal.
Fort Severn First Nation is located about 850 kilometres north of Thunder Bay.
