Police continue search for convenience store robber

Police continue to look for a lone male who robbed a Simpson Street convenience store on Sunday. Thunder Bay Police Service officers say a man entered the Mac’s Mart on Simpson Street wearing a disguise around midnight.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers say a man entered the Mac’s Mart on Simpson Street wearing a disguise around midnight.

Police say the man carried a weapon and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of money and items from the store before he fled.

Police describe the male suspect as an Aboriginal between the 17 to 22 years old, 200 to 220 pounds, about six feet tall with a round face wearing black jogging pants, a red shirt and a yellow hood.
