A recent crackdown on speeders continues to result in a significant numbers of tickets, says officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service.

A recent crackdown on speeders continues to result in a significant numbers of tickets, says officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service.

The local police officers have been targeting several location in the city where residents have complained that excessive speed is common.

In this week's sweep, another 50 drivers have been written up.

Police say drivers who ignore posted limits are a major safety concern.
