Police find drugs, credit-card copying equipment during traffic stop

THUNDER BAY -- City police arrested three men on a variety of drug-related charges after officers stopped a vehicle on the city’s north side Sunday.

THUNDER BAY -- City police arrested three men on a variety of drug-related charges after officers stopped a vehicle on the city’s north side Sunday.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say officers stopped a vehicle on Algoma Street and Van Normal just after 3 p.m. Sunday.

During the stop officers found quantities of cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana.

Officers also found a credit-card copying equipment.

Police have charged the men with several charges including trafficking and extortion.

The suspects are expected to appear in court Monday.
