THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay police are holding multiple scenes across the city in relation to two separate incidents that are under investigation by its major crimes unit.
The Thunder Bay Police Service was maintaining a significant presence Wednesday morning in the 200 block of May Street, the 100 block of Shipley Street, and 200 block of Brock Street.
The Shipley Street incident appears to have been a violent one, with large blood stains visible on both the street and the corner of a house surrounded by yellow police tape.
The scenes were being held as officers with the major crimes unit and the forensic identification unit investigate two separate incidents that occurred overnight, the TBPS said.
In a release issued on Wednesday morning, police service said no further details were available at this time, but updates would be provided as further information becomes available.
