THUNDER BAY - City police are holding an area near the Marina Park overpass after receiving reports of an unresponsive male.
Thunder Bay Police, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue, and Superior North EMS were called to the North Cumberland Street bridge over the McVicar Creek Wednesday afternoon shortly after 4 p.m.
Witnesses in the area said a man requested someone call 911 after he found another man unresponsive under the bridge. The man claimed the male under the bridge had a bloody and swollen face.
Police were seen speaking with witnesses on scene and five people were taken away in police vehicles, though they did not appear to be in custody.
