Twenty-seven-year-old Arnold Fox of Wauzhushk Onignum was found dead on the road on Thursday, after a suspect vehicle was stopped after a short chase at the junction of Highway 17A and Highway 596 near Kenora.

A male youth driving the vehicle was apprehended and is being held in custody pending a Sept. 17 court date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora. The suspect cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Police have not indicate if any charges will be laid.

A post-mortem examination was conducted last Friday in Toronto.
