FORT FRANCES, Ont. – Police have released the identity of a woman who was found dead in the Rainy River.
The OPP identified 58-year-old Linda Kozik of Fort Frances as the woman whose body was pulled out of the river by a fisherman Saturday at a boat launch on McIrvine Road.
She was last seen on the afternoon of Jan. 15 leaving a Kings Highway residence.
A post-mortem was conducted in Kenora on Monday and foul play is not suspected.
The coroner continues to investigate.
