Police in Dryden receive multiple reports of mischief targeting campaign signs

(DRYDEN, ON) – On August 17, 2015 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Dryden Detachment received a report of Mischief to the campaign signs for the upcoming election.  

The OPP would like to inform the public that it is a criminal offense to damage private property and it could lead to a criminal code conviction with a maximum punishment of not exceeding two years.

If you see anyone or know of anyone who has caused damage to these signs or any other crimes being committed you are asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477) or the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.
