THUNDER BAY -- City police are looking for a suspect who robbed a convenience store early Tuesday morning.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers say the incident took place around 3:00 a.m. at the Mac's Convenience store on the corner of River and Balsam streets.
The suspect is described as a male about 5'6" tall with a medium build. He was wearing a light coloured jacket and a black balaclava. He walked into the store brandishing a weapon and demanding money.
Police have not been able to confirm what kind of weapon was used.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.
