THUNDER BAY – City police are looking into a pair of separate south-side assaults that occurred overnight Sunday into Monday.
Thunder Bay Police Service officials say the first incident took place at 11 p.m. when a man was reportedly assaulted on Brodie Street by another man. Police believe the assault was part of an attempted robbery.
A second incident took place at about 3 a.m. Monday. Police say officers responded to a South Vickers Street address where a man was allegedly beaten and robbed of some money.
The investigation into both incidents are ongoing.
