THUNDER BAY -- Provincial police are investigating a pair of thefts at camps on a lake northwest of the city.

The OPP on Monday responded to reports of a theft at Bedivere Lake that happened more than a week earlier on July 15, when a man and woman arrived at the cabin by boat and stole several items, including a shovel and a memory card from a trail camera.

Four days earlier, officers received a separate report of a theft from another camp on the lake after an outboard motor was stolen.

Police said it is unknown whether the two thefts are related but added the camps are only accessible by boat.

Photographs of the suspect were released by police on Wednesday. Anyone who can assist with the identification of the individuals is asked to contact the OPP.
