Police investigating Circle K robbery

THUNDER BAY – Police are trying to identify a knife-wielding robbery suspect who demanded cigarettes from a north-side convenience store last weekend.

The Thunder Bay Police Service on Thursday issued a news release, appealing to the public for help to identify the suspect involved in the robbery of a Circle K store on Red River Road.

The robber entered the store on Sunday night, armed with a knife. The robber approached the counter and demanded cigarettes, fleeing in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of store product.

Police described the robber as a man, standing about five-foot-nine. He was wearing a black jacket with a grey hoodie underneath, black pants, black shoes and a dark bandana covering his face.
