Police issue warning to north-side residents following numerous break-ins

Police have issued a caution to residents in the John Street and Junot Avenue area. Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service are asking that residents in that area to be a little more vigilant in securing their homes and vehicles.

Police have issued a caution to residents in the John Street and Junot Avenue area.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service are asking that residents in that area to be a little more vigilant in securing their homes and vehicles.

The warning follows several break-ins and thefts over the past week.

Police say in particular, homes that back on to pathways or trails are often convenient targets.

They're also urging people to report any suspicious activity.
