City police officials say they are prepared to release details about a major drug trafficking operation in the city, but a public announcement will have to wait until Friday.
This follows the execution of a search warrant by Thunder Bay Police Service officers early Thursday morning in the Crown Street area.
Police aren't disclosing any other details on the raid at this time.
Officials will only say that it was part of a long-running investigation into a major drug distribution network.
