Police looking for men who robbed cab driver at knifepoint

THUNDER BAY – City police are looking two men who robbed a taxi driver at knifepoint early Tuesday morning. Investigators with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the incident took place at about 1:25 a.m.

THUNDER BAY – City police are looking two men who robbed a taxi driver at knifepoint early Tuesday morning.

Investigators with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the incident took place at about 1:25 a.m.

The driver was held up at knifepoint by the two men. The robbery began on the Expressway and ended on Mary Street at Georgina Street.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

The male suspects are described as:

  • Aboriginal
  • Five-feet-eight-inches tall
  • Wearing a Raptor's baseball cap
  • Adidas Jacket with 3 strips on sleeve
  • grey sneakers
  • back pack
