An off-duty Thunder Bay Police Services officer is under investigation following a recent incident at a local hockey tournament.
Thunder Bay Police on Wednesday issued a release, announcing the Sudbury Regional Police Service has taken over the investigation, which involved a Thunder Bay parent lodging complaint against the off-duty officer over an alleged Jan. 10 altercation.
There were no injuries in the incident.
Thunder Bay police have not named the officer in question and said they cannot comment further because it’s an active investigation.
