Police searching for armed robbery suspect

Police continue to look for the man who robbed a local credit union with a handgun late last week. Thunder Bay Police Service officers say the man entered the Apple Credit Union on North Cumberland Street shortly after 2 p.m. Friday.
Police continue to look for the man who robbed a local credit union with a handgun late last week.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers say the man entered the Apple Credit Union on North Cumberland Street shortly after 2 p.m. Friday. The man had a handgun during the robbery and left the credit union with an undisclosed amount of money.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers are now turning to the public to help identify a suspect.
Police say the suspect is described as a Caucasian man who stands between six- and six-feet-two-inches tall.

He is believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s, is unshaven, has brownish blonde short wavy hair, a slim build and was last seen wearing a green jacket and blue jeans.
