Police searching for credit union robbery suspect

THUNDER BAY -- Police are searching for a man who robbed a south side credit union on Friday morning.

Thunder Bay police said the robber entered the Syndicate Avenue Copperfin Credit Union at about 9:45 a.m. Friday, demanding money from a teller. The robber fled from the credit union, heading north with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber wore a black high-visibility construction jacket with green stripes, black pants, work boots and black gloves at the time of the robbery.
