Police searching for missing girl

Police are looking for a 16-year-old girl who was reported missing on Monday.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say they are looking for 16-year-old Leah Christie Ooshag. The girl was last heard from on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011.

Leah Christie is described as an Aboriginal female with black hair. She stands about five-feet-seven-inches tall and weighs about 127 pounds.

Police believe she may be in the Victoriaville area, but is known to sometimes frequent the north core area.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Leah Christie is asked to contact police.
