Police searching for suspects in attempted robbery (2 photos)

City police are looking for two suspects in connection with a robbery late Thursday night.

THUNDER BAY – City police are looking for two suspects in connection with an attempted robbery at a Circle K convenience store.

Thunder Bay Police was dispatched to the Circle K on Edward Street North just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday for reports of a robbery.

Police learned that two male suspects, both of whom were armed with a large kitchen knife, entered the store and approached the clerk. One of the suspects then demanded money from the clerk.

Both suspects fled when they noticed an on-site security guard in uniform approaching. The two males exited the store and fled southbound toward the Northwood Mall.

The first male suspect is described as standing about five-foot-nine and weighing about 150 pounds. He wore a black flat-brimmed baseball cap with a Chicago Bulls logo on it, black Crooks hoodie with a rose on the chest and roses on each sleeve, black pants, black mask with a skeleton pattern, and white shoes with black on the toes.

The second male suspect was also described as standing about five-foot-nine and weighing about 150 pounds. He wore a red hoodie with a black jacket over top, a black baseball cap with a large white Toronto Raptors logo, a black mask with small white markings, black pants and all-black sneakers.
