Police seek cash-box thief

THUNDER BAY – Police are looking for a thief who stole a cash box from an Arthur Street West business in mid-March.

In a released issued on Monday, 19 days after the alleged crime took place, police said the thief entered Magnacharge Battery at about 8:30 a.m. on March 13 and took the cash box, which contained an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male with a thin build, who was wearing a black baseball cap, dark-coloured pants and a black hoodie with white lettering underneath a black jacket when the theft took place.

Police have also released an image of the suspect, caught on the business’ surveillance camera.
