Police seek suspect in midnight Mac’s robbery

Police responded to an early morning armed robbery at a south-side convenience store Wednesday. Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to reports of a robbery at a Mac’s Mart on North May Street just after midnight.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to reports of a robbery at a Mac’s Mart on North May Street just after midnight. Few details are known, but a male suspect reportedly fled the store after the robbery and ran eastbound down a laneway behind the store.

Police say the suspect was about 18-years-old and stood six-feet tall with a slim build and black hair.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect wore baggy blue jeans and a blue button dress shirt with vertical stripes.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact the Thunder Bay Police Service or Crime Stoppers.

Police did not reveal what the suspect took from the store during the robbery
