ATIKOKAN, Ont. – Police are turning to the public for tips on a mischief incident that occurred late Thursday night at an Atikokan residence.
Officers from the OPP’s Rainy River District detachment were dispatched to a Cedar Crescent address around 11:30 p.m.
An OPP release issued Friday evening offered few details on the incident, but revealed that the item “used to perpetrate this mischief” was an arm curl weight bar.
Mischief generally involves destruction of or interference with personal property.
Police are calling for tips from the public to assist with the investigation.
“Did you see anyone carrying a weight bar on the evening of Nov. 5?” the OPP release asks. “That would seem out of the ordinary!”
