THUNDER BAY -- Police are searching for a suspect accused of stealing drugs from a north side pharmacy Thursday morning.
According to a media release from the Thunder Bay Service, a woman entered the Janzen’s Pharmacy located in the Medical Arts Building on Algoma Street just after 10 a.m. and “aggressively demanded narcotics.”
She received a quantity of drugs before a security guard was alerted and chased her over a fence. She disappeared heading towards the Safeway on Court Street.
Police describe the suspect as a Caucasian woman approximately 25 to 30 with long dark hair. She was wearing a navy puffy jacket with a large hood, grey sweatpants, black toque, grey scarf, white running shoes and blue mittens.
